Hey everyone - quick PSA from your mod team (especially for newer users):
We’ve seen a rise in extremely low-effort posts lately. Worse than usual, somehow. Things like:
These were the actual top three posts in /new when I logged in tonight. And yes - my first instinct was to nuke them (and their posts) on sight and move on without explaining a thing. But instead, cooler heads prevailed, I explained why they were garbage-tier questions and removed the posts.
However, let’s be abuntantly clear:
These aren’t real questions.
They’re lazy attempts to get other people to do basic stuff you could figure out in 10 seconds.
You’re not confused. You’re not lost. You’re just unwilling to look.
Mods for Nomads? Google it. Check the game page. Check CS.RIN.
Non-app games? We literally have a game feed, a torrents list, a full library, Discord, Telegram - pick one and look. You’ll find your answer faster than waiting for someone else to hand it to you.
What’s worse is when people do answer, it’s usually off memory and half-accurate - because even the “just help them” crowd doesn’t care enough to actually verify.
Because deep down, everyone knows you're putting in zero effort.
This community doesn’t exist to be your personal search engine.
If you’re not willing to spend 30 seconds looking before posting, don’t be surprised when people don’t bother answering - or worse, call you out.
Be better. Or at least pretend to try.

We’re not here to shut people down - we want real questions, helpful posts, shared finds, and good conversation. But if your post boils down to “can someone else do this for me,” it's just noise.
This community runs on people who actually put in effort - testing, sharing, helping. If you’re new, welcome. But take a few minutes to look around first. Odds are, your answer’s already out there.
Let’s keep the sub clean and useful.
